Gay and lesbian issues have been in the political news a lot recently. So after carefully considering the arguments put forward by my campaign team at a recent meeting, I am officially releasing a gay and lesbian rights policy. The policy reads:

Gay and lesbian people to receive the same rights as normal people.

I’d barely arrived home from my trip to Canberra before John Howard announced a November 24 election. That means there are only six weeks left for me to get my message out there that a vote for Lachlan Connor is a vote for restoring democracy back to Parliament. Things are pretty frantic around here at HQ at the moment and I’ll be making more policy announcements via YouTube in the near future.

The official election campaign is expected to be announce by John Howard any day now and it’s time to get ultra-serious about my effort to represent Victoria in the Senate. This weekend I’m heading to Canberra to soak up the democracy and spread my message far and wide, and this week I will be announcing a new policy every day.

I have completed the production of my first campaign advertisement and uploaded it to YouTube. While embedding it in my website I had my webmaster remove the “under construction” graphic as I believe the site is now complete. Enjoy the advertisement!
